Choosing a Marketing List
For some, it may seem a daunting task to try to narrow down one specific list that will generate the best return on your marketing investment. In the marketing data world, we classify all marketing lists into three major categories: Response Data, Compiled Data and Sales Leads. Once your optimum category is selected, the even more daunting task of searching through tens of thousands of selects can make even the savviest of marketers go a little nuts. This is where US Data Corporation’s team of experts comes into play.
Our marketing list experts have been working with this data day in and day out, for years on end. They know every select, they have experience using the data with their other clientele, and they know what works. They will take the pain out of purchasing a marketing list and will give you peace of mind knowing your list needs are taken care of.
To clarify, let us further describe the three major marketing list categories:
Response Data - These independently owned files are compilations of people who have taken a specific action to get on a mailing list. For instance, people who have subscribed to a magazine, purchased a specific product, filled out a survey or warranty card, entered into a sweepstakes, and/or people who have joined a particular club. These are all examples of the types of actions taken that will qualify a person to become part of a response mailing list.
Compiled Data – This data is updated regularly and is pulled from public records such as government records, postal records, telephone directories, county recorder offices, and credit bureaus. When your best method of targeting your top prospects is by demographic criteria, then Compiled Data is your data of choice.
Sales Leads - These are when a prospect proactively requests information on or indicates an active interest in acquiring a particular product or service.
